Our inhouse Maintenance Service are looking for an experienced Multi Traders to focus on reactive works in our residents homes. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor for the area directly.  Covering our West Neighbourhood including Harrow, Brent, Ealing, Hillington and surrounding areas.

Multi Carpenter postcodes SL,UB,TW,HA,W3,RG,NW and surrounding areas.

Multi Plumbers postcodes RG, GU and surrounding areas.

We are looking for experienced trades people across multiple areas and you will be given an L&Q van for business use. It is essential to have a driving license to carry out this role and you must have your own hand tools (larger tools and specialist equipment will be arranged if needed)

Our Multi trade Operatives are expected to carry out a range of tasks inclusive of internal and external door fitting, Splice repairs, General Locksmith, bathroom Sub Floors, Bath panels and frame work  kitchen repairs/refits, glazing, upvc, fire doors, vinyl flooring, plumbing, patch plastering, wall tiling, decorating and other general Maintenance repairs.  The ideal candidate will have the relevant City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications or will be qualified by experience. 

 

We will expect you to have effective communication skills, have experience of working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment including a knowledge of a varied housing stock.

Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents we expect you to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first time service. Limiting follow ons and increasing satisfaction.

Our in house maintenance team core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. There is the opportunity to earn more from call outs and out of hours service.

To be considered for this role candidates will require/be:

  • Sound working trade knowledge and experience
  • Experience gained within a Maintenance, site and or Housing environment
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service
  • Right first-time approach
  • Health and Safety Conscious
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Wide range of Multi trade skills
  • Able to use a PDA
