This is an exciting opportunity to join the Asset Strategy team as a Stock Condition Surveyor within Property Services. These are newly created roles following a Property Services restructure. The Stock Condition Surveyors report direct to the Senior Investment strategy manager

This particular role will be responsible for the East region of L&Q’s housing stock and covers East London such as Tower Hamlets plus Essex and the surrounding areas. As well as assisting fellow Stock Condition Surveyors within the L&Q estate. As you will required to travel as part of this role we will require candidates to have a driving license and access to a vehicle.

Responsible for collecting accurate stock condition data on all properties and associated assets held across the Trust, taking account of all the surveys, repairs, maintenance and improvement works undertaken by the Trust, external consultants, contractors and partner organisations.

The collected information will underpin L&Q’s long-term asset strategy and inform our expenditure of more than £200m pa.

 

 

 

To be considered for this role candidates must be able to demonstrate:

•       Extensive knowledge and experience in carrying out stock condition surveys to varied residential properties

•       HNC in surveying related field or equivalent skills with proven experience of carrying out programmes of stock condition surveys

•       Preferred Level 3 certificate in domestic energy assessment

•       Exceptional standards of customer care

•       Ability to deliver accurate and clear communications both verbally and written

•       Proficient use of Microsoft Package and a working knowledge of a handheld, PDA
